Commercial office cleaning services help keep your toilet seats clean

Commercial office cleaning services in China Grove and Concord understand the challenge that most people face. If scrubbing those stains out of the toilet bowl doesn’t work, you’re probably dealing with hardened mineral deposits.

Calcium and magnesium, two elements found in high concentrations in hard water, leave stains on your toilet and become more stuck with time. So, let’s go to work cleaning those difficult spots! Soon enough, your toilet will return to being bright and white.

Why hard water stains happen on toilet bowls

Any water that contains excessive amounts of sediments and minerals, such as calcium and magnesium, is referred to as hard water. Hard water will continue to accumulate as you use your fixtures and appliances, eventually leaving rust and scale stains that appear impossible to get rid of. Because they contain standing water, toilet basins are particularly vulnerable.

Note: Avoid using harsh chemical cleaners from the shop in order to preserve your fixtures and appliances.

Cleaning process

Use basic cleaners like vinegar and baking powder. Pour some vinegar into the toilet bowl first, then scrub it with a toilet brush. Then wait a minute while the mixture sits. Vinegar’s acidity will start to work on dissolving the mineral deposits. Pour another cup (or two) of vinegar into the toilet bowl after adding a cup of baking soda. Don’t panic if you see the mixture begin to fizz because this is just a chemical reaction that occurs when baking soda and vinegar are together. Give the solution ten minutes to rest.

Scrub
– Start cleaning the toilet with the solution now. The filth should be dislodged by vinegar and baking soda. Do not flush the toilet, please! You’re still not done.

Rinse – Give the solution 30 minutes to sit. Swish the mixture around a few more times to make sure the spots are removed. You can scrub any remaining hard water stains with your toilet brush. When the allotted time has passed, and all stains have been removed, flush the toilet to rinse. You should no longer have any water stains in your toilet bowl.

Preventing stains

The easiest way to prevent stains, which are caused by mineral accumulation, is to clean them frequently. Consider cleaning your toilet once every week. You can prevent the minerals from hardening in this way.
